About Us

Brief description

With twenty years experience in the piano tuning craft, Adams Piano Ltd provides a comprehensive tuning and repair service to schools, concert halls and private individuals throughout the North Lincolnshire area. Robert Adams attended the internationally renowned course at Newark Tech. College between 1984-1987, qualifying with the college's own Diploma and City and Guilds Parts One and Two in Stringed Keyboard Instrument Manufacture. He is also a member of the Pianoforte Tuners' Association.

Trade Bodies / Associations

The Pianoforte Tuners' Association was founded in 1913 as a trade union, but was de-registered in 1972 to become a professional body. Since then its membership has gradually grown, proclaiming its commitment to improving standards, to the extent that since 1975 all applicants for membership must pass a theoretical and practical examination to prove their ability as qualified tuners or technicians.
