This fish and chip shop has been around for years. When you walk in there is usually a long queue, sometimes going through the door, especially at school lunchtime and on a tea time. The smell is not particularly pleasent and I was informed that they fry the chips in beef dripping, which as a vegetarian just left me with mushy peas which where not particularly the nicest as they where very salty and didnt taste as mushy peas should. It does seem to be a popular takeaway but it is more expensive than other fish and chip shops for what I beleive is the same quality.
